Hi Jenn. Hmm… Perhaps the raspberries needed more time on the stove before you run them through the sieve. I guess some are riper than others which can mean that the cooking time may vary slightly. I would say they were not soft enough or your sieve was too fine for this job. I would probably throw some of the berries back next time or if you don’t mind the seeds, omit this step.

Hi Karen. I haven’t measure them in cups so won’t be much of a help here. I would try with 1.5 – 2 cups. You can still adjust the sweetness to your liking (add more sugar if needed). Also, any leftovers can be poured over pancakes or oatmeal. Hope this helps.

Can you send some of them over to me? :) I’d say you could but haven’t tried it myself. What you could do is make raspberry jam and use it as filling whenever needed. I do it that way when I feel lazy or have no raspberries on hand. You could also try making raspberry syrup. I have a recipe on the blog so you can check it out. Hope this helps!
