Hi Lizzie, lemon juice should stop bananas from going brown. Also heard that pineapple juice does the same trick, but never tried it myself. I would probably brush the bananas with the juice, but the thing is that you might also need to brush every piece when you cut them. I would recommend trying it as an afternoon snack (perhaps you could make them a few hours in advance) to see if your kid would mind. If she eats them no problem, you are good to go.
