In reply to Karen Hewett. Thanks for your comment, Karen. I have corrected the typo. In this recipe it does not really matter what size you cut the pastry. It will not affect the taste of the puffs, they will just be smaller. I usually eyeball it :). Hope you like them as much as we do!

Just made the mistake of cutting the rectangles into 6x3cm as said in your blog. In the recipe it says 6x4cm which I think is correct. I’m sure they will taste just as delicious but thought you may like to edit your blog. X

Hi Coleen, in order to assemble the puffs together, the puffed pastry “cases” need to be cooled completely. You can do it in advance too (several hours) and keep them in the fridge – they will not be so crispy though. Hope this helps. If you need any more help, let me know!

Love these little bites! I can imagine just how crispy those edges get with the puff pastry. Yum! I also really like your use of chia seeds instead of poppy seeds. Never thought of that before.

These sound awesome! I love finger food (much better than what is used in North America for appetisers). It is a small bite and leaves room for other, small bites :~D I LOVE THE ADDITIONS OF MANGO CHUTNEY IN THE CHICKEN.

wow ! this is a must make recipe if only because the ingredient list is very crazy, chia seeds mango and chicken! I can’t wait to make these and see people’s reaction when I explain what’s in them haha!
