Hi Julie! Thanks for stopping by! Yes, quail eggs might be tricky to peel but they should be easier to peel when they are cold. I always start at the wider part. I am afraid you will have to count with some ruined eggs. I suggest you try both ways, the water trick and just peeling when cold and you’ll see. Also it’s like with hen eggs, some of them are easier to peel some of them are harder. Hope this will help you a bit. Let me know when you try!

I’m worried I will ruin the look of that cute little egg! Perhaps it’s best to peel them while they are still warm? I will try the container and water trick if I attempt try hard boil some quail eggs. Thanks so much for this lovely post; the photos are beautiful!

Thanks a lot Mandy! Hope you’ll like them! Pinchos are very popular in Spain as well as tapas (these little small snacks) :)

These look amazing! Very interesting little snack… This is my first time hearing about “pincho”, but this definitely seems right up my alley. What an excellent snack for a little party or get-together. I also LOVE anything with goat cheese in it, so I am excited to try this recipe out! YUMMY!
