Try dried oregano, marjoram or thyme. Another option (my favorite) if you would like an extra flavor is drizzle some olive oil on top and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning (I have a recipe on the blog). We love it!

]]>Hi Gail. The recipe calls for stalks of celery which many also call ribs or sticks. It definitely is not the whole bunch which is also known as stalk or head. It can definitely get confusing so I could write an explanatory note for those not certain about the amount that needed to be used. Thanks for pointing it out!
]]>That’s good to hear! I would say any of the vegetable creamy soups are good – they either contain only a little bit of cream or are made completely without, if that is what you prefer. I would pair them with a salad or something else though as some might be too light on their own for a complete meal. Hope this helps!
]]>Hi Gwen! Thanks so much for your feedback! Happy Cooking! :)
]]>I doubled the recipe but next time I’m going to quadruple it. I also used brocollini vs broccoli. Yum!
I’m looking forward to trying your other low carb/low fat, healthy, whole food recipes!
Thanks so much for your feedback, Noeleen!

]]>I had pizza last night, and felt like sooo guilty about it. So today I decide to have something healthy and found this recipe after having a bag of spare broccoli in the fridge. I had some nice fancy caramelized onion and cheddar croutons lying around to go with it.
All I can say is that I totally prefer this meal to the pizza I had yesterday. Not only does it cost much less, but it has amazing flavor and because of the simplicity and low number of ingredients, it is like super healthy and have a very low calorie count.
Thank you so much for the recipe ♥
:) You are welcome, Monika! :) Your version sounds delicious.
]]>I added about 1/4 cup of butter because I didn’t have any broth/stock and needed the flavour.
I used 3 cups water total instead of 2 cups broth/stock + 1 cup water.
I added about 1/4 cup of chopped leeks.
I threw in some stewed beef pieces and left about 1 cup of the vegetables whole (diced) because my family likes something to chew on and I wanted this to be a filling dinner!
Oh and I squeezed a bit of lemon juice to balance the flavours.
Good stuff…but now that I read through my comment…I seemed to have made up my own recipe ;)
Thanks for the base!
