This is a great recipe. I use crabapple jelly and make little tartlets. They are my grandson’s favorite.

I made this tart a few weeks ago when we were hosting friends for dinner. It was such a success! They couldn’t believe I made it!
I doubled the recipe as I have a 25cm tin and the crust was thick and crispy.
Definitely adding this recipe to my favorites.

In reply to Sheri. Hi Sheri. Some sweetened brands contain 5 times more sugar than unsweetened which means you can end up with an extremely sweet dessert. I recommend checking the packaging label and for best results use coconut that has no more than 8 grams of sugar per 100 grams. If the packaging states 5 grams per serving - this is a lot of sugar and I would avoid it. You could reduce the quantity of powdered sugar in the filling, but this might not be sufficient. Hope this helps.
